Election!

For students 5th through 8th grade
Wednesdays, October 1 - November 12 @ 7:00pm - 8:30pm 
- Main Library Multipurpose Room -

Become part of the political machine as you and your team of campaigners create a candidate, establish platforms, write speeches and try to win an election! The winning team will earn a special breakfast with local political figures.















On October 29th, the candidates and their campaigners held a debate in the Library auditorium. After the debate, voting for the President of the United Streets of Lakewood had officially begun. After a week of voting, the polls were closed and the votes were counted. As of Wednesday, November 5, our new President of the United Streets of Lakewood is...

  • Take copper wiring and recycle or use to help pay for city taxes
 3. Trash Collection/Recycling
  • Everyone should recycle
  • More recycling bins and/or trash cans
  • Everything should be recyclable

  • Place public trash and recycle bins throughout the city
