TRANSPORTATION
West Shore students are provided transportation from their home school to their program location and back to their home school each day, at no cost to the student. A transportation schedule is provided for every student. The schedule includes pick-up and drop-off times and locations for the students.
Students should make every effort to get to their pick-up location fifteen minutes before departure time. Students who miss the provided transportation are responsible for their own means of getting to class. The West Shore Career-Technical Education District will not run extra bus routes for late students. We ask all students to ride the provided transportation.
Any variance from this transportation policy needs to be discussed with the home school principal or designee.DISCIPLINE
The resident high school will be notified of any infraction of school policy. Appropriate disciplinary action will then be determined/taken by the home school.
REPORT CARDS / INTERIM REPORTS
Grade reports will be submitted to the resident high school for entry in the students’ permanent record. Each student will also receive a report card/interim report from West Shore for the midterm and end of the grading period.
ATTENDANCE
Each student is expected to be in class every day. Attendance is taken daily and reported to the home school the next morning.
