Dear Students and Parents!
STUDENTS -- Do you enjoy drawing, dancing, painting, coloring, singing, playing a musical instrument, telling stories, writing poetry, taking photographs, or video production? If the answer to any, some, or all of the above is "yes," then read on carefully!
It’s time for “REFLECTIONS,” the annual PTA sponsored art contest and this year it is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Therefore, the theme for this year is "WOW!" Start thinking about the theme and what it means to you. Then, create a piece. It’ll be fun!
PARENTS -- The SIX art categories and detailed specific guidelines regarding the “REFLECTIONS” art contest are on the back of this sheet.
Please take the time to review it with your child before she/he begins her/his project. Start working now!
The deadline for all entries is Friday, December 5, 2008.
Look for an official entry form in the November Chalk Talk or download it from: http://www.wastatepta.org/programs/Reflections/Forms08/WA_ReflectionsStudentEntry_Form.pdf. Students may enter as many times and in as many categories as they wish.
