By submitting this form for e-mail notification, you are authorizing Lakewood Public Library to send notices about the availability of holds via e-mail instead of U.S. Postal Service mail. You cannot be notified of available holds by e-mail and U.S. mail. You must choose one method.

If notices cannot be delivered to the e-mail address you have given, e-mail notification information will be removed from your record and the Library will send notices by U.S. mail.

Your e-mail notification will arrive from the address "sirsi@mars.sirsi.net" with the subject "Library Notice." If you use a spam filter that has an override "whitelist," you may want to add UnicornProd - Sirsi "sirsi@mars.sirsi.net" to the whitelisted From domains or "Library Notice" to whitelisted Subjects.

The Library will not share your e-mail address with outside parties, except parents/guardians of minors, unless required to do so by a court order.

The U.S. Postal Service offers a reasonable and Federally-enforced guarantee of confidentiality of mail sent to you. There are no Federal or State laws guaranteeing the confidentiality of e-mail communications. Although we consider our e-mail traffic to be reasonably secure, the Library cannot offer a guarantee that information is secure once it travels through the Internet.

You may use the same e-mail address for more than one person if you share e-mail. However, if privacy is a concern, please note that all persons with access to that mailbox will be able to view the notices.

Delivery of notices depends on several vendors: yours and the Library's Internet Service Providers plus intermediate, higher-level providers and links in-between. Delays and delivery difficulties may be beyond the control of the Library.
